My Mission
I believe as somebody who creates art that often embodies nature’s beauty, I must take some responsibility in taking action to preserve our wonderful New Zealand landscape.
In honour of this I have decided that for every print I sell I will donate 5 Native trees to be planted on my behalf. As for every service I commit to, I’ll donate a further 10.
10% of my revenues go to organisations that focus on preserving our beautiful oceans.
Doing this helps offset my personal environmental effects by up to as much as 500x
The difference between creativity and professionalism is a gap I aim to bridge with excitement and quality. Photography is something which can never truly be mastered, yet i’m confident I can masterfully compose your story with my skills as an artist. I value my art most when i’m able to share it with others. What’s the point in developing something worth admiring if it can’t be experienced by those who would appreciate it far beyond what it would be if it weren’t brought to light. For years now I have endeavoured to capture beauty in every detail to curate a body of work which compels others to create art in an inspiring and sustainable way benefiting the industry far beyond what i’m capable of as an individual . My Journey
I guess I’ll start from where my passion originated. I come from a small dairy farm in the Wellington region of New Zealand, growing up in such a vast yet free environment allowed me to explore my hobbies with no urban restraints. This was a blessing when I first picked up my mother's camera barely before the height of Covid 2020, I was able to escape the confinements of my home and explore nature by myself without feeling like I was being watched or judged on my abilities as a beginner by anyone in passing. It was really just me and my equipment traversing native New Zealand bush every day. I mean it's not like I had anything better to be doing, who knows maybe if ‘normality’ was never interrupted by the pandemic I may have never pursued photography as hard as I did at first which has led me here.
Since the beginning, I have had the honour of working with clients ranging from local businesses to global corporations. I’ve been published in various outlets from regional newspapers to luxury magazines alongside leading brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Jaguar, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent and more.
Everything considered there is still nothing that excites me more than presenting someone with my work and seeing their expression ignite, this all started from being inspired by other artists, trying to replicate styles which I found attractive. Now I share my work to preserve memories, help businesses tell stories and above all else inspire others to fall in love with the art that is photography as I have.
